The Giribaldi family have been producing wine for three generations. For them “organic” is a lifestyle, a way of life that all of the family shares. This Barbaresco comes from the vineyard in Neive planted to Nebbiolo and is 350 meters above sea level. It is traditionally vinified and aged in oak for 24 months. A ruby red color with garnet reflexes. On the nose is a perfume of wild roses, raspberries and cinnamon. In the mouth it is dry and warm with rich ripe fruit character and great structure. Delicious flavors of cherries, hints of orange peel and licorice along with vanilla, tobacco, and leather. A complex wine that is both elegant and powerful. Enjoy it with red meats and cheeses.
